Three years changes a lot, especially in the Donaldson house.
I forgot all about this lovely blog as a way we used to keep up with friends and family who are not in state, all thanks to Facebook.
But I thought I would attempt to try again to keep this up and someday print it off for the fab five.
Let's see since 2008 a lot has happend.
Februray 11th we welcomed our sweet, crazy, fun loving rainbow baby into the world Mr.Corbin Jospeh and he has been a firecracker since birth.
His smile will pull you in and his personality we believe is for two, handpicked by his angel brother Ethan who sent him here to keep us on our toes. We are loving every minute of it.
October 28th my niece Zoey Jade made her apperance 8 weeks early and has joined the Donaldson family as our daughter, since January of 2011.
We are in the process of adopting and its so much crazier than I ever thought adoption would be, but this little girl has stolen our hearts and she is thriving so well.
Life as a mom of "twins" has been one heck of a rollercoaster. But its exciting as well.
Blake just turned 8 in January and is now a 3rd grader (eek) where the heck does the time go? He is doing amazing in school and keeps us amazed at how well he is doing. In second grade he was reading at a 4th grade level and kept at the top of his class.
All we can hope is he continues down this path.
Aiden entered the wonderful world of Kindergarden this past year and got through it. I think we had a harder time adjusting to that then he did. He enjoyed school and is very much looking forward to being a first grader this year. He is still very much our soft hearted soul but we know someday he will do great things with that heart of his.
Then Our sweet Corbin with a mind of his own but a smile that will make you forget anything he just did. He is a running, talking trouble making boy for sure. But he is the biggest joy personality wise. I hate to think he will be the trouble maker but in fact I must admit I'm sure he will be. I hate to think someday he won't want to hold my hand anymore.
Then there is Dillon, he is a total sweetheart, his gummy smile will melt your heart.
He is trying so hard to keep up with the older boys and just wants to go go go. He started crawling at 6 months and then at 7 months pulling up on stuff, now at just 8 months he wants to cruise along furniture and of course give mommy near heartattacks. And he also likes to climb, pull off sisters hair ties, and torment poor Zoey, as pictured below.
Guy has also recently accepted a manager position at his old company and is enjoying all those manger tasks.
He is still into the motorcycles and I think our garage has more of those than even yard tools, but it keeps him busy with a hobby.
I am still doing photography and have recently quit doing daycare and just enjoying being with my kids during the day. With five kids home all day its rather hetic but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
I am also on the path to become a better me and in 10 weeks I have lost 32lbs its rather exciting but I am still learning that transition in life. I've struggled with my weight since my junior year of high school and the road to weight loss after five kids is rather difficult. But I am working on it.
I have a prior to weight loss and so far into weight loss pictures but I'll spare everyone that for now, lol. Hopefully in the next month or so I will get a good one on here.
